KRISTIAN STEELER “Show-Biz, No Biz” is
a compilation evening of two one-acts plays written, directed and
produced by a young artist,
Kristian Steeler. The beginning of the evening opens with Backstage
Grease a warm story set in the dressing area of a small
civic theatre production of the timeless musical “Grease”.
The light story of theatre and dedication carries us into the darker
half of the evening, with the tragic story of Hollywood
Reigns. When the hottest super-agent in town is given the
break-out talent of the year, he’s faced with the choice
of loyalty vs. legendary riches. Find out what happens in both
of these original stories.
Please consider “Show-Biz, No Biz” for review
with your excellent publication. We would be honored to have you
spend an evening with us. It will be a great evening with superb
performances that says "theatre can be done in L.A." The
stories are sharp and we, as a cast and crew, passionately believe
this is a work worth watching. Make a reservation under the banner
of your publication and receive free admission.

How to get to our theatre?
Ride Metro: Take
the Metro
Red Line to Hollywood/Highland, walk westbound on Hollywood
Blvd and turn left on La Brea. This will be a nice short walk
with a lot of foot traffic and shops and restaurants. Once you're
on La Brea, cross the street at Lanewood to get to the west side
of the street. The theatre is in
the small strip mall above the Lava Lounge. The Metro
Red Line goes until midnight
to both Downtown and NoHo.
If you take the bus,
routes 212 and 312 will drop you off on
the corner of Sunset Blvd and La Brea.
Ride Your Bike: The Metro
Red Line will allow your
bike anytime of the day or night and you can also put your bike
on the bus. If you are riding without connecting to public
transit go to BikeMetro.com and
use it as you would MapQuest. You can lock up under the stairs
next to my bike.
Drive a Car: 101 Freeway
to Sunset Blvd., go west, and turn right on La Brea. You can find
some street parking but check the street signs. Get directions
